Stand-up Science

Our first event of 2013 was Stand-up Science on the 20th March. The event followed the successful speed-dating format which was utilized to great effect in 2012. Participants had three minutes to talk to every other participant about their research and potential areas of collaboration before moving to the next researcher.

STRATUS sponsored events

STRATUS offered a scholarship covering full course fees for the Science Media Centre Auckland SAVVY workshop held on the 14-15th March. STRATUS also sponsored a ScienceOnline Watch Party organised by the Science Communicators Association of NZ (SCANZ) at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences on the 12th February.
